Returns/Exchanges

Returns & Exchanges

Last Updated: August 14, 2026

Verta Corp (“Verta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) stands behind the products we sell. All returns, exchanges, refunds, replacements, repairs, credits, and warranty-related remedies are subject to Verta’s inspection, approval, and sole and reasonable discretion, except where otherwise required by applicable law or an applicable written manufacturer warranty.

Return Eligibility

Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery. Submission of a return request does not guarantee that a return or refund will be approved.

To be considered for return, products must generally:

  • Be unused, uninstalled, and in new and resalable condition;
  • Include all original packaging, parts, hardware, manuals, and accessories; and
  • Show no signs of wear, use, assembly, alteration, damage, improper handling, or misuse.

Verta will determine, in its sole and reasonable discretion, whether a product qualifies for return and the amount of any refund or credit, subject to applicable law.

Verta may refuse any return that does not satisfy this policy.

All returns require prior authorization from Verta. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Return Shipping and Fees

Unless Verta determines that a return resulted from our shipping error, verified shipping damage, or a covered product defect, all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Original shipping, freight, delivery, lift-gate, inside-delivery, assembly, installation, and similar charges are non-refundable unless Verta determines otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

Verta may deduct return shipping costs, diminished value, missing-item costs, damage, or other applicable charges from any refund, to the extent permitted by law.

Shipping and Freight Damage

Customers should inspect products promptly upon delivery.

Claims involving shipping or freight damage must be reported to Verta as soon as reasonably practicable. Verta may require photographs, video, packaging, shipping labels, delivery receipts, or other documentation before evaluating a claim.

Verta will determine, in its sole and reasonable discretion, whether reported damage constitutes shipping damage and what remedy, if any, is appropriate, subject to applicable law and carrier requirements.

Depending on the circumstances, Verta may elect to provide replacement parts, arrange a repair, replace the product, issue a partial credit, issue a refund, or take another reasonable corrective action.

Customers should retain all packaging and shipping materials until the claim has been resolved.

Defective Products

If a customer believes a product is defective, the customer must contact Verta promptly after discovering the claimed defect and provide any information or documentation reasonably requested by Verta.

Verta may inspect or otherwise evaluate the product before approving any remedy.

Verta retains the right, in its sole and reasonable discretion, to determine whether a product is defective and, where a remedy is warranted, whether to repair the product, provide replacement parts, replace the product, provide store credit, coordinate service through the manufacturer, issue a partial refund, issue a full refund, or provide another appropriate remedy, subject to applicable law and any applicable written warranty.

Normal wear and tear, cosmetic imperfections that do not materially affect function, misuse, abuse, accident, improper assembly or installation, unauthorized modification or repair, inadequate maintenance, failure to follow instructions, improper storage, or use inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose do not constitute defects under this policy unless otherwise required by law.

Non-Returnable Products

Verta may designate certain products as non-returnable, including:

  • Used, assembled, installed, altered, or modified products;
  • Products damaged after delivery;
  • Products missing packaging, accessories, hardware, or components;
  • Clearance, liquidation, closeout, or final-sale merchandise;
  • Special-order, custom, personalized, or made-to-order products;
  • Installed replacement parts or components; and
  • Any other item identified as non-returnable before purchase.

Verta may make exceptions to these restrictions at its sole discretion. An exception made in one instance does not obligate Verta to make the same exception in another.

Cancellations

Order cancellation requests are subject to Verta’s approval.

Verta may decline a cancellation once an order has entered processing, procurement, production, fulfillment, preparation for shipment, or shipment.

Special-order, custom, and made-to-order purchases may become non-cancellable once Verta or its supplier begins procurement or production.

Whether a cancellation is approved and whether any associated charges are refundable will be determined by Verta in its sole and reasonable discretion, subject to applicable law.

Refunds

No refund is guaranteed merely because a return request has been submitted or merchandise has been returned.

All returned merchandise is subject to inspection and approval by Verta.

If a refund is approved, Verta will determine the appropriate refund amount based upon the condition of the product, applicable shipping or freight charges, missing components, damage, diminished value, and other relevant circumstances, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method.

Exchanges

Exchanges are not guaranteed and are subject to Verta’s approval and product availability.

Verta may elect to process an exchange as a return followed by a separate new purchase.

Any difference in product price, taxes, shipping, freight, or other charges will be the responsibility of the customer unless Verta determines otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

Fraud, Abuse, and Unusual Circumstances

Verta reserves the right to refuse or limit returns, exchanges, refunds, credits, replacements, or future transactions where Verta reasonably suspects:

  • Fraud;
  • Return-policy abuse;
  • False or misleading claims;
  • Unauthorized resale activity;
  • Product substitution;
  • Intentional or negligent product damage; or
  • Other improper conduct.

Verta’s Determinations

Except where prohibited by law or controlled by an applicable written warranty, all determinations regarding eligibility, product condition, defects, shipping damage, refunds, exchanges, replacements, repairs, credits, deductions, exceptions, and remedies will be made by Verta in its sole and reasonable discretion.

Verta’s decision to make an exception, accommodation, refund, replacement, or other concession in one situation does not create an obligation to provide the same remedy in another situation.

Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to eliminate, waive, or restrict any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable federal, state, or local law.

Where applicable law or a valid written manufacturer warranty provides the customer with rights inconsistent with this policy, those legally controlling rights will apply.
